Though only their third studio album release, these veterans have been around for almost fifteen years--and they keep getting better with each release--which is hard to manage since their quality of compositions, performances, and production have always been top notch. A band that really should be heard!

Argentina is paradise for fans of all kinds of interesting music, ranging from folk over jazz/fusion to progressive rock. "Canturbe" is just another excellent example. This disc from 2008 is a real lucky strike. While the other albums preceding and succeeding it are quite interesting, too, this one really stands out. In a most elegant way, the band keeps the balance of rock, indie, and folk, the latter becoming most evident each time the bandoneón joins in. The album has a most exciting melancholic feeling throughout, mostly carried by the piano and synth orchestra arrangements. And of course, the vocals by Liliana Herrero on "Eternidades" are the highlight... I've heard her for the first time on "Canto Labriego" by Nora Sarmoria's "Orquesta Sudamericana", and was swept away immediately.

Mysterious, yet nostalgic, Isolubilia is truly an ode to the romance found in the pursuit of a mystery. Musically rich in turbulence and serenity, majesty and humbleness, this album made me feel both lonely, yet understood as an isolated individual. Perhaps we're all fellow romantics, looking up at the same night sky, trying to wring our own meaning out of the stars. I hope that pursuit never ends.
